Is this the right approach for me?

My practice could be helpful to you if you are struggling with or have questions about:

• personal or professional life

• family, friends or romantic partners

• sexuality

• moments of crisis

• examining your life goals

I seek to provide a space in which you can identify unhelpful beliefs and playfully try new ways of acting and being. Together we will develop strategies that work best for you and your unique situation.

My focus lies in working with people on the LGBTQ+ spectrum and people practising polyamory and other forms of non-monogamy - but any orientation and relationship model is welcome! My practice is kink and sex work friendly.

What is systemic counselling?

In the systemic approach we regard people not as isolated, but as part of their surroundings (e.g. couple, family, work, society) which informs their interactions, behaviours and patterns. Additionally to those external systems we also examine internal systems, meaning the different aspects of your self and how they interact.

My work is ressource and solution oriented. I see and understand that the client is the expert of their own experience.

Sessions and pricing

Individual sessions are 50 minutes and couple/two person sessions are 80 minutes. We can meet in person in my practice in Berlin (Prenzlauer Berg) or online.

The base price for an individual session is 85€ and for a couple/two person session 140€. Please consult this table for pricing (or download it in English here) according to your income bracket.

If you cannot afford the base price, please reach out to me and we can negotiate a different fee.

Please note: If you cancel your appointment less than 36 hours before it is scheduled to take place, you will be subject paying the full session price. To avoid this, please provide cancellation notice at least 36 hours prior to your appointment.

About me

My name is Annika Ackermann (she/her) and I am a systemic counsellor, certified by the DGSF. I have been practising polyamory for over 15 years and am curious about communication and sexuality.

I am the co-founder of ENP, a network for counsellors and therapists who work with polyamory.

I regularly offer workshops on polyamory in English, both in Berlin and online.
