Friendship counselling

Our friends play a vital role in our lives. They enrich us, bring stability and support us in difficult times. Yet, like any close relationship, friendships can also face challenges. Conflicts, misunderstandings or life changes can sometimes create distance between us and the people we care about most.

While couples counselling is familiar to many, the idea of friendship counselling may seem unusual. Still, friendships are among our most important relationships — and they deserve just as much care. Unlike romantic partnerships, we often lack tools and language for working through conflict, which means difficulties can remain unresolved even when the bond itself is valuable and worth nurturing.

In my counselling for friendships, I offer a safe and supportive space where you can talk openly about your concerns. Together, we explore what is happening, understand the dynamics of your friendship and find ways forward that truly fit you and your situation.

My work is based on a systemic approach. With your resources and individual needs in mind, we will search for ways to strengthen your friendship and guide it back into a positive direction.

Seeking support for a friendship doesn’t mean it’s failing — it means it matters to you, and that it’s worth investing in so it can continue to grow.

I warmly invite you to take a look around my website and learn more about my counselling services. You are welcome to watch a video in which I answer the most frequently asked questions. Or you can go ahead and book an online session with me.

I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on your journey!
